Pons Nova began as a high school passion project to support immigrant and refugee youth navigating life in the United States. Our founders understood the unique challenges of balancing two cultures while striving for success in a new environment.
What started as a small peer support effort has grown into a health-centered nonprofit that blends cultural heritage with wellness education. Today, Pons Nova equips first-generation children with the habits, confidence, and knowledge to lead healthy lives in mind, body, and community.
Pons Nova has achieved numerous recognitions. With multiple chapters across the nation, we have reached many underserved communities. We have made partnerships with community organizations like Coral Springs Foundation, a Turkish Community Center in Miami, and schools like Jones College Prep in Chicago and School for Advanced Studies in Miami. Pons Nova has also been recognized as a nominee in the prestigious Miami Herald Silver Knight Awards Ceremony.
