Pons Nova is a nonprofit that empowers first-generation children through health education. We teach healthy habits like nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and self-care, all while celebrating each child’s cultural background.
We primarily serve first-generation immigrant and refugee children between the ages of 6–14. These are children growing up in the U.S. with parents born abroad, often navigating multiple cultures at once.
Our programs include:
Mindful arts & crafts
Culturally inclusive reading circles
Nutrition and hygiene education
Leadership and public speaking workshops
Physical activities like movement games, yoga, and dance
Donation drives for school and hygiene supplies
We’re currently accepting new partners!
